Emerging from Mumbai’s underground scene, Tienas has cemented himself as one of Indian hip-hop’s most introspective and genre-bending voices. His debut album O introduced his poetic lyricism and anime-inspired production, drawing comparisons to the likes of Nujabes and MF DOOM. He followed it up with Season Pass in 2020 — a dystopian, pandemic-era project praised for its bold sonic experimentation and emotional depth.

Beyond his solo work, Tienas created his alter ego Gunda, a project rooted in classic Hindi/Urdu poetry and house-influenced melodies — offering a softer, more melodic counterpoint to his raw lyricism.

In 2024, he returned with “Gass Dat” alongside Kim The Beloved and DHP — a sharp, satirical track critiquing elitism and superficial fame, paired with a striking music video shot in Mizoram.

Always evolving, Tienas defies convention with every release, crafting music that challenges the status quo while offering audiences vulnerability, honesty, and innovation.

Hailing from Aizawl, Mizoram, Jelo attempts to flip the Indian Hip- Hop scene on its head by diving deep into his experiences as a kid from one of the states less-spoken about and as an immigrant trying to chase the American dream.

Heavily inspired by the sounds of the dirty south, the 25-year old rapper leaves no stone unturned in an effort to lay every ounce of raw skill on wax.

In true Gen-Z fashion, Dizlaw made a name for himself recreating his own renditions of tracks by Divine, Billie Eilish, MC Stan, Emiway Bantai and label mates Seedhe Maut in reel format on Instagram.

A series he self produced in his bedroom, Dizlaw put his own spin on trending tracks. The outcome was hundreds of thousands of organic views and a cult like following started to grow for the Mumbai based 20 year old.

Azadi Records’ enigmatic artist, Gunda, is the latest evolution of Tanmay Saxena, whose multifaceted approach to music sets him apart in the Indian music scene. A duo that has redefined and re-invented R&B, Ranj x Clifr’s distinct voice as well as their ability to infuse multi-genre soundscapes into their quintessential take on the genre/R&B have made them the leading voices of the independent music scene.

Ranj x Clifr are an R&B duo that creates multi-genre music with space pop, house, Hip-hop and jazz influences blended in with their quintessential take on R&B. Their first single, ‘Mutual’ received critical acclaim in the independent music scene, followed by ‘uno’. They were both groovy pop tracks infused with R&B and Hip-hop. ‘Ep 593 Vol 1’ was their first EP, which flipped the scene, introducing a new age sound that alternated between blues and rap.
Their journey started as part of a carnatic fusion band, ‘kelvikkuri’ which experimented with jazz music. Ranj and Clifr started creating music as a duo in 2020, Ranj’s hypnotic vocals contain a versatility that elevates any genre she dives into, and Clifr’s eclectic production creates soundscapes that delve into the very essence of his own personality. Zorinkima Chhunthang, who goes by the stage name Kim The Beloved, is a skilled wordsmith and songwriter hailing from the Cleve Colony Neighborhood in Shillong. Drawing inspiration from love, heartbreak, and desire, he fearlessly delves into the spectrum of human emotions.

This native of Shillong, Meghalaya, has gained recognition for his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft, evident in his recent releases. Kim takes on multiple roles, including writing, editing, co-producing, and creatively directing his work. Notably, he has collaborated on several exciting projects with local indie artists, all of which are set to be unveiled soon.

Kim’s music explores themes such as self-identity, epiphanies, and trauma. With the attention steadily growing around him, he appears poised to establish himself as a prominent figure in the realm of Contemporary R&B and Alternative Hip Hop for a new generation of music enthusiasts.
