‘Nayaab’ – Seedhe Maut, Sez on the Beat

On Nayaab, the trio used their collective experiences over the past few years to introduce us to an evolved sound – one that’s familiar and easily recognizable as Seedhe Maut x Sez on the Beat but at the same time showcases the multi-layered narrative and immersive aural experience created by the artists’ in the quest to deliver an album that pushes the creative boundaries of the scene-at-large. The essence of Delhi, where the opulence enjoyed by the top 1% lives and breathes alongside those who live day-to-day, meal-to-meal is recreated through lush, atmospheric symphonies and snarling, out-of-control basslines. Encore ABJ and Calm don’t hold back in diving through their own personal experiences as well as the history of the city since the release of Bayaan in order to create a narrative experience unlike any other in the history of South Asian hip-hop.
