‘Hoshiyaar’ – Ahmer, Enkore

Azadi Records is proud to present ‘Hoshiyaar’, the latest offering from Srinagar-based hip-hop artist / producer Ahmer. Created in collaboration with Prxphecy, one of Kashmir’s rising generational talents, and Enkore, Mumbai’s veteran MC – the single is a unique offering in South Asian hip-hop’s crowded sonic palette, eschewing the scene’s trap-influenced soundscapes in favour of a distinct production which finds solace in distorted chaos and one that accurately captures the state of affairs in the region. ‘Hoshiyaar’ is filled with quotable punchlines that showcase where the two MCs come from and offer a glimpse into what we can expect from them in the coming months.
