The HR Associate at our organisation will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management. The HR Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organisation’s goals and foster a positive work environment. 

Responsibilities:

HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct workforce planning and talent acquisition activities to ensure the organisation has the right talent to meet its objectives.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and enhance HR effectiveness.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process, partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire top-quality candidates.
  • Ensure proper Scope of Work is communicated. 
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies, including leveraging job boards, social media, and networking channels.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, conduct background checks, and make recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new employees have a smooth integration into the organisation.

Performance Management and Development:

  • Design and implement performance management systems and processes to drive employee performance and development.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching.
  • Coordinate and conduct performance evaluations, ensuring timely and constructive feedback is provided.
  • Identify training and development needs and collaborate with the Learning and Development team to design and deliver relevant programs.
  • Serve as a resource for employees, addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.

HR Compliance and Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Oversee HR administration tasks, including employee records, contracts, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
  • Manage employee separations, conducting exit interviews and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain HR metrics and analytics, providing regular reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Reporting and Accountability:

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Management on HR initiatives, achievements, and challenges.
  • Establish HR goals, objectives, and performance indicators.
  • Take ownership of HR outcomes and ensure the successful implementation of HR strategies within agreed-upon timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field. 
  • 1–3 years of HR experience within the entertainment, media, music, creative, or agency industry.
  • Proven experience as an HR generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Experience with HR-related software applications.
