Azadi Records is currently looking for a Marketing Manager as part of our Record Label and Artist Management business. Working from our Mumbai offices, the candidate will perform the following tasks for all music releases and artists the business manages.
Responsibilities
Music Marketing Strategy
• Develop and lead marketing campaigns for artist releases, music videos, tours, and key cultural moments.
• Design and manage artist rollouts including pre release planning, launch strategy, and post release amplification.
• Manage and schedule all marketing campaigns with a strong understanding of online etiquette, audience behaviour, and long term campaign planning.
• Identify opportunities through research on music culture, audience behaviour, and digital trends to strengthen campaign impact.
• Ensure marketing strategies align with the overall vision and positioning of Azadi Records and its artists.
Content and Platform Management
• Oversee social media strategy and manage content calendars across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, and other digital channels.
• Manage all short form and long form content for social media platforms and business websites.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling digital content for artist and label platforms.
• Monitor platform performance, audience engagement, and campaign analytics to refine marketing strategies.
Digital Marketing and Paid Campaigns
• Plan and manage paid marketing campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Analyse audience based data, campaign insights, and performance metrics to optimise marketing efforts.
• Develop long term digital marketing strategies to grow reach, engagement, and fan communities.
Email Marketing and Data Management
• Manage all email marketing campaigns including campaign planning, execution, and scheduling.
• Maintain and update marketing databases and mailing lists.
• Track performance and generate reports on email campaign effectiveness.
Community and Brand Engagement
• Build and nurture the community around Azadi Records and its artists through active engagement and digital conversations.
• Lead collaborations, partnerships, and brand activations that support artist campaigns and label initiatives.
• Ensure strong audience connection by aligning campaigns with cultural narratives and fan communities.
Campaign Execution and Coordination
• Coordinate with internal teams including creative, artist management, and operations to ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Manage marketing timelines, campaign calendars, and internal tracking systems.
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
Reporting and Performance Tracking
• Analyse campaign performance and audience insights to evaluate success and optimise future marketing initiatives.
• Maintain marketing reports, campaign documentation, and internal dashboards.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on marketing initiatives, campaign performance, and strategic opportunities.

- Keen interest in the music industry, new technologies, digital music platforms, etc
